History
Opened in 1940 as a grass sattelite to nearby West Raynham, it was upgraded to concrete runways in 1944. Used by 2 Group Bomber Command and later by !00 Group. Little usage after the war. Part now used as private landing strip. David Clarke operates a microlight fom here. |
